20% purchase voucher on mattresses

  1. PROMOTION SUPPORTER: SARTONDOMINICANA, S.A.S (“IKEA”) (hereinafter referred to as “The Organizers”) will conduct the promotion to be called “Promotion 20% purchase check on mattresses (HFB05;)” (hereinafter referred to as “the Promotion”), which will be governed by the rules set forth in these regulations (hereinafter referred to as “The Promotion Rules”).

  3. TERRITORIAL SCOPE OF THE PROMOTION: This Promotion will be in force in the Dominican Republic from November 01 to December 01, 2024.

  4. PARTICIPANTS: All individuals who make and pay for the purchase of one or more items from the promotional combination series (excludes transportation and assembly services and opportunity area items) within the promotional period.

  5. PROMOTION DYNAMICS: All customers who purchase one or more items from the combination series listed below excluding transportation and assembly services and opportunity area items will receive twenty percent (20%) of the value of their invoice in the form of a Purchase Check to be used at IKEA. After the payment is made, the employee of the area will give you your invoice specifying the date of redemption. With this invoice, the customer can request the printing of the purchase check at the Customer Service Department, starting from the beginning of the specified redemption date.

    Participation in this promotion is applicable to purchases made at IKEA stores and locations in the Dominican Republic, including those made through the TeleOrders service.

    Upon notification to the Pro-Consumer Institute, THE ORGANIZERS may cancel the promotion, modify the dates, terms and conditions of these promotion rules, as well as the prizes presented, at any time for justified cause and notified to Pro-Consumer for approval purposes. In case of cancellation or changes in the promotion, it will be notified on our website www.IKEA.com.do, on social networks or at the IKEA Santo Domingo store.

  6. PRIZE: One (1) purchase check for Twenty percent (20%) of the purchase amount as detailed in point “5. Dynamics of the Promotion” (excludes transportation and assembly services and items in the area of opportunities). In order to claim the prize, it is indispensable that the customer presents the purchase invoice. If the purchase has been made in store, the customer must present the physical invoice, in case the purchase has been made via Web or Telepedidos, the customer can present the digital invoice.

    The Gift Certificate is non-transferable and may be redeemed by the customer at IKEA stores and points in the Dominican Republic. In case of a return, the customer must bring the item to one of the IKEA stores or points in Dominican Republic. The value of the transportation cannot be compensated for its cash value.

    In order to ensure the legitimacy of the winner we may request any additional document, such as identity card, passport or driver's license. The client exempts the ORGANIZERS from any liability as a result of the acceptance or use of the prize, provided that the cause is not attributable to the ORGANIZER.

    Upon return of the article of the combination series object of this promotion, the credit note will not include the percentage or value of the transport, as applicable and specified in “point 5” of these terms and conditions, of the value of the returned article.

    The promotion will be applicable to purchases made at IKEA stores or points in the Dominican Republic and through the Telepedidos service. All taxes, fees or expenses incurred by the winner to receive or claim the prize and any other unspecified expenses are the sole responsibility of the customer.

    If two or more such promotions coincide on the same purchase invoice, the customer will receive the larger purchase check that can be used in-store, at IKEA Point or on the web. The purchase check is non-refundable, non-reactivatable and non-transferable to any person.

    For the generation of the promotional purchase check, only one invoice that reaches the minimum amount required by the promotion applies”. There will be no aggregation of several invoices to reach the minimum required amount.

    Purchase checks for Pax and Kitchen family promotions will be generated based on items invoiced at the time of purchase during the term of the promotion. Items held as a paid reservation will generate the purchase check at the time the paid reservation is physically located at the IKEA location.

  7. GENERAL AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Purchase check promotions may be subject to special conditions such as minimum purchase or purchase of specific items. These conditions will be reflected in the promotion and in the specific terms and conditions of the promotion.

  8. PERSONAL DATA: The personal data provided by the participants to participate in this promotion will be included in a data file, property of SARTON DOMINICANA, S.A.S, domiciled at John F.   9. USO DE NOMBRE DE GANADORES E IMAGEN: Pursuant to the provisions of the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 172-13, participants in the promotions automatically consent to the use and processing of the data provided, for the purpose of participating in the promotion, and also for research, promotion and marketing of products and services of THE ORGANIZERS. Likewise, the personal information requested for the purposes of this promotion shall not be disclosed to any other organization except with the express consent of the contestant. Participants, in the event of being winners, automatically consent to the use, publication and reproduction worldwide and without limitation, by THE ORGANIZERS, of their image and name in any type of advertising, promotion, publication, including Internet, for commercial or informational purposes as long as they are related solely to this promotion, without THE ORGANIZERS having to pay any financial compensation to the winning participant for this fact, these publications will be made within a period of six (6) months from the end of the promotion. If the winning participant is not interested in participating in these publications, he/she may send an e-mail to lopd@ikea.com.do rejecting his/her consent.

  10. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES: The mere participation in the promotion, implies the acceptance of the present bases and also the consent under the ORGANIC LAW ON PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION No. 172-13 by the participants that the registered data, may be used by SARTON DOMINICANA S.A.S to communicate other campaigns, or promotions. In case of doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of these rules, they will be referred to the common law. The terms and conditions will be available during the period in which the promotion is in force at the IKEA Dominican Republic store and on the web.

  11. GENERAL: Any attempt at wagering, or other similar methods are prohibited. No automatic, programmed, robotic, or similar entries will be permitted. THE ORGANIZERS may disqualify or exclude from the promotion those participants who, directly or indirectly, have altered, breached or violated the rules set forth in these Promotion Rules.

  12. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION: This promotion is governed by the legislation in force in the Dominican Republic and by these rules.
