PROMOTION SUPPORTER: SARTON DOMINICANA, S.A.S (“IKEA”) (hereinafter referred to as “The Organizers”) will be conducting a contest (hereinafter referred to as “Promotion”) among persons who purchase at the IKEA Santo Domingo Swedish Store or products from the IKEA Santiago and Bavaro Swedish Store, which will be governed by the rules set forth herein (hereinafter referred to as “The Rules of the Promotion”).

DURATION AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE OF THE PROMOTION: This Promotion will be valid in the Dominican Republic at IKEA Santo Domingo, IKEA Bávaro and IKEA Santiago stores. Participation will be open from 01/01/2025 up to and including 03/18/2025. The selection of the winners will be made on 03/25/2024 before a notary and we will contact the winner by phone and/or email after this last date. 

The check will be valid until 04/30/2025 to be used on Swedish Store groceries at IKEA Santo Domingo Store or Swedish Store groceries at IKEA Bavaro or IKEA Santiago Store.

PROMOTION DYNAMICS: To participate in the promotion, a minimum of RD$2,500 must be consumed in a single purchase in the Swedish Store at IKEA Santo Domingo or in the Swedish Store products at the Swedish Café at IKEA Bávaro and IKEA Santiago. Our collaborators will give customers a ticket for each invoice with a minimum amount of RD$2,500 to fill in with their data and insert it in the boxes set up for this promotion. These boxes are located in the checkout areas of the Swedish Store or Café Sueco. 

Once the names of the winners have been drawn at random and before a notary, they will be contacted by telephone and/or email.

PRIZE: An IKEA shopping check for RD$3,000 for the winner at IKEA Santo Domingo or IKEA Santiago or IKEA Bávaro. If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours, alternates will be contacted. The check will be valid until 04/30/2024, to be used on groceries at the IKEA Santo Domingo Swedish Store, IKEA Bavaro Swedish Store or IKEA Bavaro Swedish Store or IKEA Santiago Swedish Store.

COMMUNICATION: The promotion will be communicated in the IKEA FOOD Magazine, valid from 01/01/2025 until 31/03/2025, in addition to: social networks, website www.ikea.com.do, Newsletter and physically at IKEA Santo Domingo, IKEA Bávaro and IKEA Santiago stores.

GENERAL AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Promotions may be subject to special conditions such as minimum purchase or purchase of specific items. These conditions will be reflected in the promotion and in the specific terms and conditions of the promotion.

PERSONAL DATA: The personal data provided by the participants to participate in this promotion will be incorporated into a data file, property of SARTON DOMINICANA, S.A.S, domiciled at John F. Kennedy Ave. esq. Bienvenido García Gautier Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional El Pino CP 10508. 

8.1 USE OF NAME OF WINNERS AND IMAGE: Under the provisions of the Organic Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 172-13, participants in the promotions automatically consent to the use and processing of the data provided, for the purpose of participating in the promotion, and also for research, promotion and marketing of products and services of THE ORGANIZERS. Likewise, the personal information requested for the purposes of this promotion shall not be disclosed to any other organization except with the express consent of the contestant. Participants, in the event of being winners, automatically consent to the use, publication and reproduction worldwide and without limitation, by THE ORGANIZERS, of their image and name in any type of advertising, promotion, publication, including Internet, for commercial or informational purposes as long as they are related solely to this promotion, without THE ORGANIZERS having to pay any financial compensation to the winning participant for this fact, these publications will be made within a period of six (6) months from the end of the promotion. If the winning participant is not interested in participating in these publications, he/she may send an e-mail to lopd@ikeasi.com rejecting his/her consent.

ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES: The mere participation in the promotion, implies the acceptance of the present bases and also the consent under the ORGANIC LAW ON PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION No. 172-13 by the participants that the registered data, may be used by SARTON DOMINICANA S.A.S to communicate other campaigns, or promotions. In case of doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of these rules, they will be referred to the common law. The terms and conditions will be available during the period in which the promotion is in force at the IKEA Dominican Republic store and on the web.

GENERAL: Any attempt at wagering, or other similar methods are prohibited. No automatic, programmed, robotic, or similar entries will be permitted. THE ORGANIZERS may disqualify or exclude from the promotion those participants who, directly or indirectly, have altered, breached or violated the rules set forth in these Rules of the promotion.

APPLICABLE LEGISLATION: This promotion is governed by the laws in force in the Dominican Republic and by these rules.
