Outdoor products will be exposed to a lot more things than indoor products, such as sun and rain, dust and dirt. That is why we at IKEA carefully select suitable materials and finishes for our outdoor products and put them through tough tests, so you can be sure they are durable for outdoor use.
Easy-care plastic rattan/steel
Plastic rattan combined with powder-coated steel is durable, weather-resistant and easy to care for since it is maintenance-free. To keep the fresh look after many hours in the sun the plastic is both UV stabilized and fade resistant.

If the furniture is stored outdoors all year round, we recommend that you cover it with waterproof protection, for example TOSTERÖ cover. Wipe off excess water from flat surfaces after a rain or snowfall.
