Cookies and hearts cake

This delicious cookies and sweets cake is perfect for any special celebration. With a fluffy cake and a soft cream, decorated with heart-shaped cookies and sweets, it is an option that both children and adults will love. Perfect to share sweet moments with the family and to make unforgettable every occasion.




 
INGREDIENTS
For the cake:
  • 200 g of flour
  • 200 g of sugar​
  • 200 g of butter
  • 4 eggs​
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract​
For the cream:
  • 500 ml of whipping cream ​
  • 100 g of icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
For the decoration:
  • Cookies filled with chocolate KAFFEREP
  • Sweets with berry flavor LÖRDAGSGODIS
  • Chocolate with milk bar BELÖNING
     
  Serves 10-12          2 Hours

STEP BY STEP
  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF)
  2. Prepare the cake:
    • Whip the butter with the sugar until you obtain a fluffy mix.
    • Add the eggs one by one, whipping well after adding each one.
    • Add the vanilla extract. 
    • Sieve the flour with the yeast and add the previous mix, whipping until you obtain a homogeneous dough.​
    • Distribute the mix in two molds and bake for 25-30 minutes or until you insert a toothpick in the center, and it comes out clean.​
    • Let the cakes cool in a grid.​
  3. Prepare the cream:
    • Whip the cream with icing sugar and the vanilla extract until you obtain consistence.
  4. Build the cake:
    • • Put one of the cakes in a serving plate and extend a layer of cream. Then, add the other cake above it and cover all the cake with the rest of the cream.
  5. Decorate the cake:
    • Put the chocolate bars around the cake, sticking them to the cream.
    • Decorate the top part with heart-shaped cookies and sweets.
    • Refrigerate the cake for at least an hour before serving it.
