Chicken meatballs in their baskets

Time: 15 minutes | Amounts: 10/12 baskets

A celebration of creative flavors that invite you to explore and enjoy every bite, these meatballs in their little baskets can be served as a starter or main dish.

Best of all, this recipe is surprisingly simple and quick to prepare, allowing you to enjoy a delicious dish without the complications.

Ingredients

  • Chicken meatballs HUVUDROLL
  • Lettuce
  • Carrot
  • Pineapple
  • Leek
  • Flax
  • Soy
  • Parsley
  • Optional: jalapenos or peppers

Preparation

  1. Cook the chicken meatballs in a pan with hot oil.
  2. Create the baskets with the lettuce leaves.
  3. Add the sliced carrot, leek and chopped pineapple. 
  4. When the meatballs are done, add them also to the baskets  and finish with some flax seeds.
  5. Optionally, chop and add peppers or jalapenos.
  6. For the sauce, pour the soy in a bowl and add some chopped parsley.
